Who we are

Our head office is in Redruth, Cornwall, and our team works across the UK. We look after primary, secondary, independent, special and alternative provision schools, and multi-academy trusts, from Cornwall to Birmingham. Several of our team have worked in schools themselves, so we know what a school day asks of the people running it.

Why we built adsum

Everything about your school's attendance is already recorded in your MIS, but the full picture is hard to see there. Our MIS team supports schools on SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom and IRIS Ed:gen every day, and we built adsum to turn that record into clear answers: who needs support, what is improving, and how you compare, worked out the same way the DfE does it.

Support, not enforcement

adsum is there to help schools and families support children. It shows what is going well as clearly as what needs attention, and it shows who is getting close to the penalty notice threshold so you can reach them first, while help still makes a difference.

How we work with you

You talk to people, not a ticket queue. Our helpdesk is open 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, all year except bank holidays, our MIS team knows your system, and our advice is impartial whichever MIS you use.

What we stand for

Five things run through everything we do: we care, we partner, we protect, we connect and we educate. We became a certified B Corporation in January 2026, and we hold Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO/IEC 27001:2022, because a product that holds pupil data has to be looked after properly.
